About Us
We are located at 2025 Sonoma Blvd. in Vallejo. Meals are served outside in the lower parking lot in to-go containers.
Our History
What started as a single meal in October of 1999, has turned into a community organization that serves over 29,000 meals annually.
Our humble beginnings started with the idea that "No one in Vallejo should go hungry". We started barbecuing chicken in the wee hours of Saturday mornings, eventually passing out soup and sack lunches. We added Sunday dinner and gradually we were able to add weekly lunches, too.
Now, with the help of local grocery stores, The Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano County, and community donations, we are able to pass out groceries and open an emergency food pantry as well. Today, we are blessed to be able to offer free meals Monday to Thursday as well as Saturday and Sunday.
Throughout 20+ years of serving our community, our motto remains the same, "Free meals for the community so that nobody in Vallejo goes hungry."
